Our Curriculum

Through our curriculum, educators leverage storytelling to develop powerful, healing-centered classroom communities in which youth develop their self-awareness, social awareness, and advocacy skills.

Self-Awareness

Youth explore their personal and community histories to more deeply understand and define themselves for themselves.

Social Awareness

Youth uncover the circumstances that have led to their becoming to deepen their understanding of justices and injustices in their world.

Storytelling

Youth are given authority to act as self-advocates so they feel empowered to engage in civic actions that support their individual and community wellness.

Social Change

Youth synthesize their learning in a capstone project to craft compelling stories for social change.
